  1. PC's, Networks, and Workgroups

  4. DocuPower Pro is designed for use on stand-alone PCÆs as well as networks. 
  5. When installed to a network, it can be set up in either individual or workgroup 
  6. configurations. 
  7.  
  8. Three basic configurations are available:
  9.  
  10. 1. Stand-alone - for regular PC's which are not connected to a network.
  11. 2. Network - for PC's which are part of a network. DocuPower Pro folders can 
  12.    contain documents from your local drive, as well as files from network drives. 
  13.    Access to network drives is transparent to the user. Each user maintains 
  14.    separate folder configurations.
  15. 3. Workgroup - for PC's which are part of a network. As above, users can access 
  16.    documents from local and network drives. The workgroup version, however, also 
  17.    allows users in the same group to access the same set of DocuPower Pro folders. 
  18.    By sharing folders and documents, all members of the group can benefit from 
  19.    consistent document organization.

  21. The free trial version comes pre-configured for stand-alone and network PCÆs. 
  22. Workgroup licenses for any number of users can be purchased by calling us at 
  23. 800-814-2300 or 718-375-2997. Upon payment, youÆll be shipped an installation 
  24. kit configured for the number of users in your workgroup. Please note - volume 
  25. discount prices are available for site licenses.
